Amazing food and service the margarita list is long and looks awesome can't wait to try them all.

We stopped here over the weekend while in the area for vacation. What a nice find! We were very hungry and ordered the Molcajete. It was flavorful and sizzling hot. It was plenty for the two of us. You also get chips and salsa but they bring out a bean dip with the chips. The server was very attentive without being pushy. The atmosphere is bright and colorful with a Day of the Dead theme, but not in a gaudy way!

Really cool spot for some Mexican food. The decor and the art on the chairs is AMAZING. So much color and fun things to look at. The food was good. Mine was bland but I tend to like things spicier. Atmosphere was fun and loud and perfect for families.

The street tacos are a must-try, especially the flavorful grilled chicken, spicy chorizo, and tender beef lengua, each served authentically on soft corn tortillas with fresh cabbage, cilantro and onions. Whether you're craving authentic Mexican fare or looking for a welcoming spot with generous portions and great bar drinks, Calavera hits all the right notes. One of my family's favorite eateries in Cottonwood/Northern Arizona.

The food portions are huge. Their ambience is nice and their margaritas yummy. Overall, I would come back. They have plenty of parking space.

Love the ambiance! The service was awesome. I ordered a jalapeño margarita extra spicy and it was the best one I have ever had. Food was beyond delicious, hot, and authentic. So glad we found this little gem and will be back again soon.

My boyfriend and I were staying in Cottonwood and was craving some Mexican food. Yelp didn't let us down with this gem! The ambiance is quite fitting for the restaurant. Sugar skulls galore! Booths were comfortable too! We started with a basic cheese crisp which are pretty hard to mess up. But the reason for 5 stars is the Chicken Mole enchiladas! So much flavor! I can't put words down to do them any justice. Dinner for the 2 of us, appetizer, and an alcoholic drink each was about $50. Very reasonable for the service and quality!

Love the ambiance! Our server was nice. There were a few veggie options. Ordered the tostada lunch special with black beans. Was not told that the rice had chicken broth.

Swung into here and had a giant margarita and some tasty food. The place was super cute. Tasty food and the staff was super nice. The chicken mole was good and so were the Jalisco enchiladas.

I really loved everything about this place! The decor is bright and lively; I love the sugar skull decor throughout. The wait staff were very attentive and didn't let us run out of refills and chips/salsa. We also got complimentary bean dip which was really tasty. We were there for happy hour and received $4 off the $12 house margarita, and the margaritas themselves were enormous. The dinner plates were super enormous as well. I had the carne asada con Elote plate and it was so delicious. I am very excited to go back!
